Problem

A subset of N2115 and N2215 Host Bus Adapters (HBAs) were shipped with missing Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) port labels. Port 0 is closest to the heat sink, and Port 1 is closest to the outside of the controller.

A subset of N2115 and N2215 Host Bus Adapters (HBAs) were shipped with missing Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) port labels.

Port 0 is closest to the heat sink, and Port 1 is closest to the outside of the controller.

Affected configurations

The system is configured with one or more of the following IBM option part numbers:

ServeRAID N2115 SAS/SATA HBA for IBM System x, option part number 46C8988, any replacement part number
ServeRAID N2215 SAS/SATA HBA for IBM System x, option part number 47C8675, any replacement part number
