The following system firmware level(s) are affected: 04ISolution
This behavior will be corrected in a future release of Integrated Management Module (IMM).
The target date for this release is scheduled for second quarter 2015.
The file is or will be available by selecting the appropriate Product Group, type of System, Product name, Product machine type, and Operating system on IBM Support's Fix Central web page, at the following URL:
Workaround
Restart the IMM to correct this database availability issue and restore the ability to make the static IP address change.
Additional information
After a reset to defaults, the IMM may have a high Central Processing Unit (CPU) loading and depending on the policies being provisioned from the Chassis Management Module (CMM), this function may not yet be available, giving rise to this error. This scenario does not present itself during a normal IMM restart operation.
