Symptom
When using the IBM Dynamic System Analysis (DSA) Preboot 9.50 application, a popup window will show 'No extended results' when the Hard Disk Drive (HDD) diagnostic test is started.
Affected configurations
The system may be any of the following IBM servers:
- BladeCenter HS23, type 1929, any model
- BladeCenter HS23E, type 8038, any model
- System x3500 M4, type 7383, any model
- System x3530 M4, type 7160, any model
- System x3550 M4, type 5459, any model
- System x3550 M4, type 7914, any model
- System x3630 M4, type 7158, any model
- System x3650 M4 HD, type 5460, any model
- System x3650 M4, type 7915, any model
- iDataPlex dx360 M4 server, type 7912, any model
The system is configured with at least one of the following:
- IBM Dynamic System Analysis (DSA) Preboot 9.50, any model
The system is configured with one or more of the following IBM Options:
- ServeRAID H1110 SAS/SATA Controller, Option part number 81Y4492, any Replacement part number (CRU)
- ServeRAID H1135 Controller for IBM Flex System and BladeCenter,
Option part number 90Y4750, any Replacement part number (CRU)
- ServeRAID M5210 SAS/SATA Controller for IBM System x, Option
part number 46C9110, any any
- ServeRAID N2215 SAS/SATA HBA for IBM System x, Option part number 47C8675, any model
The system is configured with Dynamic System Analysis 9.50.
The system's Dynamic System Analysis 9.50 diagnostic didn't complete.
The system's Dynamic System Analysis 9.50 diagnostic fails.
The following system firmware level(s) are affected: Dynamic System Analysis 9.50
Note: This does not imply that the network operating system will work under all combinations of hardware and software.

Solution
This behavior will be corrected in a future release of Dynamic System Analysis (DSA) Preboot.
The target date for this release is scheduled for second quarter 2014.
The file is or will be available by selecting the appropriate Product Group, type of System, Product name, Product machine type, and Operating system on IBM Support's Fix Central web page, at the following URL:
Workaround
Use the version previous to 9.40 of Dynamic System Analysis Preboot instead.
Additional information
The root cause is under investigation and appears to be associated with an integrated module within Dynamic System Analysis (DSA) Preboot.
