Additional information
This issue is caused by electrical noise on the utility power lines. The LCD may receive some bad signals that can cause it to display the content mirrored and upside down. The LCD supports a number of functions including mirrored display.
As the issue is utility power related there cannot be a fix implemented for the UPS to avoid this issue. This requires correction of the utility power that is being fed into the UPS unit. The IBM 3000VA LCD 3U Rack UPS is a line interactive UPS unit.
