Problem
When a Universal Serial Bus (USB) 1.0 device is installed on a System x3200 M3 before system boot up, the System will hang during Power On Self Test (POST). After system boots to the Operating System (OS), the device will be recognized without an issue.

Symptom
When a Universal Serial Bus (USB) 1.0 device is installed on a System x3200 M3 before system boot up, the System will hang during Power On Self Test (POST).
After system boots to the operating system, the device will be recognized without an issue.
Affected configurations
The system may be any of the following IBM servers:
- System x3200 M3, type 7327, any model
- System x3200 M3, type 7328, any model
This tip is not software specific.
This tip is not option specific.
Solution
This behavior was corrected in Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) firmware v1.11 (BuildID GYE148AUS).
