Problem
System x3755 M3 intermittently reports a Central Processing Unit (CPU) 1 and CPU 4 Cache Error. You can recognize this issue in the Dynamic System Analysis (DSA) and Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) Event log with the following messages: (OEM POST with Time Stamp): CPU 1:Cache error. (OEM POST with Time Stamp): CPU 4:Cache error.

Symptom
System x3755 M3 intermittently reports a Central Processing Unit (CPU) 1 and CPU 4 Cache Error. You can recognize this issue in the Dynamic System Analysis (DSA) and Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) Event log with the following messages:

- BIOS/uEFI level 1.06(AYE153A) and prior
The system is configured with four (4) CPU's.
The following system firmware level(s) are affected:
- iBMC Version 1.03, AYOO31C and prior
Solution
This issue is fixed in integrated baseboard management controller (iBMC) version 1.04 (Build ID: AYOO32J) and Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) version 1.07 (Build ID: AYE158A).
