Problem
Multiple false alarms of second power supply could be seen when the first AC power supply is powered on. In this case, the system fault Light Emitting Diode (LED) will light and power supply related errors will be logged in the Integrated Management Module (IMM) System Event Log (SEL).

Symptom
Multiple false alarms of second power supply could be seen when the first AC power supply is powered on. In this case, the system fault Light Emitting Diode (LED) will light and power supply related errors will be logged in the Integrated Management Module (IMM) System Event Log (SEL).
For example, the following errors could be reported:

Solution
The fix is available in IMM2 firmware update v1.05 (Build ID: 1AOO10K) or later.

Workaround
Disconnect AC power cord and power supply then reconnect the power supply and AC power cord.
Additional information
This symptom occurs only on System x3250 M4, machine type 2583, with a redundant Power Supply Unit (PSU) configuration.
