The Network Interface Controller (NIC) Power Management tab of the Network adapter does not display in the Windows Server 2003 device manager, as shown in the following screenshot:
Affected configurations
The system may be any of the following IBM servers:
- System x3550 M2, type 4198, any model
- System x3550 M2, type 7946, any model
- System x3550 M3, type 4254, any model
- System x3550 M3, type 7944, any model
- System x3650 M2, type 4199, any model
- System x3650 M2, type 7947, any model
- System x3650 M3, type 4255, any model
- System x3650 M3, type 7945, any model

Solution
This behavior is corrected in Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) code v1.12 (BuildID: D6E153A).

Additional information
The Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) table for the network adapter in the UEFI code was incorrect. As a result, the power management tab is missing in the device manager.
This symptom has been fixed by updating UEFI code with a correct ACPI table.
