Problem
When user configures either a System x3650 M2/M3 or System x3550 M2/M3, with a ServeRAID B5015 SSD Controller, Option 46M0969, installed, the system cannot boot up with black screen and also there is a software Non-Maskable Interrupt (NMI) message in theIntegrated Management Module (IMM) error log.

Symptom
When user configures either a System x3650 M2/M3 or System x3550 M2/M3, with a ServeRAID B5015 SSD Controller, Option part number 46M0969, installed, the system cannot boot up with black screen and also there is a software Non-Maskable Interrupt (NMI) message in the Integrated Management Module (IMM) error log.
The issue has occurred on Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) Version 1.10 (BuildID: D6E150A) and does not happen on previous UEFI release Version 1.09 (BuildID: D6E149C).
Affected configurations
The system may be any of the following IBM servers:
- System x3550 M2, type 7946, any model
- System x3550 M3, type 7944, any model
- System x3650 M2, type 7947, any model
- System x3650 M3, type 7945, any model
The system is configured with one or more of the following IBM Options:
- ServeRAID B5015 SSD Controller, Option part number 46M0969, replacement part number 46M0970
This tip is not software specific.
The following system BIOS or UEFI level(s) are affected:
- UEFI Version 1.10 (BuildID: D6E150A)
Solution
This behavior was corrected in first quarter release UEFI Version 1.11 (BuildID D6E150C) but lacked documentation in the change history.
UEFI change history list will be updated in second quarter release.

Additional information
System boot fails when ServeRAID B5015 SSD Controller is installed in PCI slot 5. (It can't even boot into UEFI.)
