Symptom
The CNFG and PS Light Path Diagnostics (LPD) Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) may turn on and the following entries are displayed in the Integrated Management Module (IMM) log:
| "Power Supply 1" has a Configuration Mismatch "Power Supply 2" has a Configuration Mismatch |
This issue occurs in the following configuration:
- System x3650 M3, System x3550 M3, System x3620 M3, or System x3630 M3 with power supply Field Replaceable Unit (replacement part number) part number 39Y7223 installed
- dual power supply configuration
- IMM code version 1.24, yuoo91e

This tip is not option specific.
The following system firmware level(s) are affected:
- IMM v1.24 (yuoo91e)
Solution
This behavior is corrected in IMM version 1.25, yuoo91k.
The file is available by selecting the appropriate Product name, Product machine type, and Operating system on IBM Support's Fix Central web page, at the following URL:
Additional information
This is a technical issue between the IMM detect mechanism and the power supplier. The IMM could not recognize the different source of power supply Vital Product Data (VPD) and treat as an unsupported configuration where the VPD data is incorrect. There will be one byte shift with a different source of the power supply VPD, so the PS LPD and CNFG LEDs turn on, requesting to be corrected.
The new IMM code adds the new source mechanism.
