Symptom
After running the Advanced Settings Utility (ASU) tool, the arrangement for ASU items cannot map to the Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) setup menu.
For example:
| ASU Item | UEFI Item |
|---|---|
| UEFI.OnboardDeviceEnable.7 | System Setting\Device and I/O Ports\Enable/Disable on-board Device(s)\Slot 2 |
| UEFI.OnboardDeviceEnable.8 | System Setting\Device and I/O Ports\Enable/Disable on-board Device(s)\Slot 3 |
| UEFI.OnboardDeviceEnable.9 | System Setting\Device and I/O Ports\Enable/Disable on-board Device(s)\Slot 4 |
| UEFI.LegacyRomExecution.7 | System Setting\Device and I/O Ports\Enable/Disable Legacy Option Rom(s)\Slot 2 |
| UEFI.LegacyRomExecution.8 | System Setting\Device and I/O Ports\Enable/Disable Legacy Option Rom(s)\Slot 3 |
| UEFI.LegacyRomExecution.9 | System Setting\Device and I/O Ports\Enable/Disable Legacy Option Rom(s)\Slot 4 |
| UEFI.PCIeGenSelection.1 | System Setting\Device and I/O Ports\PCIe Gen1/Gen2 Speed Selection\Slot 2 |
| UEFI.PCIeGenSelection.2 | System Setting\Device and I/O Ports\PCIe Gen1/Gen2 Speed Selection\Slot 3 |
| UEFI.PCIeGenSelection.3 | System Setting\Device and I/O Ports\PCIe Gen1/Gen2 Speed Selection\Slot 4 |
Affected configurations
The system may be any of the following IBM servers:
- System x3620 M3, type 7376, any model

The following system BIOS level(s) are affected:
- System x 3620 M3 : HSE110AUS
Workaround
Modify the ASU item, as shown below.
| ASU Item | UEFI Item |
|---|---|
| UEFI.OnboardDeviceEnable.7 | System Setting\Device and I/O Ports\Enable/Disable on-board Device(s)\Slot 2 |
| UEFI.OnboardDeviceEnable.8 | System Setting\Device and I/O Ports\Enable/Disable on-board Device(s)\Slot 3 |
| UEFI.OnboardDeviceEnable.9 | System Setting\Device and I/O Ports\Enable/Disable on-board Device(s)\Slot 4 |
| UEFI.LegacyRomExecution.7 | System Setting\Device and I/O Ports\Enable/Disable Legacy Option Rom(s)\Slot 2 |
| UEFI.LegacyRomExecution.8 | System Setting\Device and I/O Ports\Enable/Disable Legacy Option Rom(s)\Slot 3 |
| UEFI.LegacyRomExecution.9 | System Setting\Device and I/O Ports\Enable/Disable Legacy Option Rom(s)\Slot 4 |
| UEFI.PCIeGenSelection.1 | System Setting\Device and I/O Ports\PCIe Gen1/Gen2 Speed Selection\Slot 2 |
| UEFI.PCIeGenSelection.2 | System Setting\Device and I/O Ports\PCIe Gen1/Gen2 Speed Selection\Slot 3 |
| UEFI.PCIeGenSelection.3 | System Setting\Device and I/O Ports\PCIe Gen1/Gen2 Speed Selection\Slot 4 |
Additional information
