Symptom
If the user changes the network Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) setting to support ipv4, ipv6, or both via the YaST tool in Graphical User Interface (GUI) mode, then the user may see the following error messages:

Change the network DHCP setting via the YaST tool in text mode or remove the Smart Common Input Method (SCIM) package (scim-bridge-qt) that is affected.
Additional information
This symptom is caused by an SCIM GUI package issue in the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 (SLES 11) Operating System (OS).
Novell is working on the issue, and plans to have a fix available in a future release.
