Problem
Flow control (/cfg/port/gig/fctl) and autonegotiation (/cfg/port/gig/auto) settings are not saved on reboot of the switch if they differ from defaults. Defaults are autonegotiation on, which ignores flow control settings.

Symptom
Flow control (/cfg/port/gig/fctl) and autonegotiation (/cfg/port/gig/auto) settings are not saved on reboot of the switch if they differ from defaults. Defaults are autonegotiation on, which ignores flow control settings.
Affected configurations
The system is configured with one or more of the following IBM Options:
- Nortel Networks 10 Gigabit Uplink Ethernet Switch Module for BladeCenter, Option 39Y9267
This tip is not hardware specific.
This tip is not software specific.
Solution
This behavior will be corrected in a future release of the switch firmware.
The target date for this release is scheduled for third quarter 2009.

Workaround
If the switch must be rebooted, the user will need to apply the affected settings manually.
