Symptom
The Remote Control Applet may not load from a Red Hat 5, Update 2, client using Firefox 3.0 and the 1.5.0_09 Sun JRE.

Solution
This issue can be fixed by upgrading to Firefox version 3.0.3 or later and registering the 1.5 plugin.
- Download and install Firefox version 3.0.3.

Register the Sun 1.5 JRE plugin with the browser:
- cd <Mozilla>/plugins.

ln -s jdk1.5.0/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so.

Additional information
The Java plugin was not correctly registered with the Firefox 3.0 browser. Firefox could not find the 1.5 JRE, so it was not able to load the applet. The fix includes instructions for registering the Sun JRE with Firefox.
