Problem

Upon bootup of the BladeCenter JS22, the boot sequence subsequently halts before reaching completion. In the Advanced Management Module (AMM) web page, the event log shows errors with reference codes B181B507 and/or the B1813409.

Upon bootup of the BladeCenter JS22, the boot sequence subsequently halts before reaching completion. In the Advanced Management Module (AMM) web page, the event log shows errors with reference codes B181B507 and/or the B1813409.

Affected configurations

The system may be any of the following IBM servers:

  • BladeCenter Chassis, type 7967, any model
  • BladeCenter Chassis, type 8677, any model
  • BladeCenter H, type 7989, any model
  • BladeCenter H, type 8852, any model
  • BladeCenter JS22, type 7998, any model

Solution

Check all the installed memory DIMMs, if they are supported.
