While using Sun Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.6, downloading Remote Control Java applet hangs. This occurs using open remote control with JRE 1.6.
The steps to create the issue are to install JRE 1.6. If set cache enabled, this issue will occur with higher frequencies.
Open the remote control.
The user can recognize the problem by seeing either downloading remote control java applet hanging for minutes or the error message: "The connection was closed due to a timeout. Please clear the Java cache if caching is enabled, close all browser windows, and try again." when opening remote control.
Sometimes, a Userid/Password request window would show up before the error message displays.

Remove Sun JRE 1.6 and install Sun JRE between version 1.4.2_08 and version 1.5 in the client system.
This is a known limitation of remote control and described in Advanced Management Module and Management Module User's Guide (Page 7) - "To use the Remote Control feature on an Advanced Management Module, the client system must also have the Sun JRE between version 1.4.2_08 and version 1.5.".
