CATIA version 5 R16 service pack 2 installation requires four CDs in total. Two CDs for base CATIA version 5 R16 and two CDs for service pack 2. During the installation on CATIA version 5 R16 service pack 2 CD #2, the installation would hang and stop.

Workaround
---
- Open up the Control Panel.
- Click on Add or Remove Programs.
- Uninstall by selecting Remove in the Sonic DLA application.
- Reboot the system.
- Resume CATIA version 5 R16 service pack 2 installation.
- (This step is optional) Once CATIA is installed, Sonic DLA can be reinstalled back by locating the execution file, setup.exe, located in C:\IBMTOOLS\APPS\MYCD\DLA.
Additional Information
---
When Sonic DLA is enabled, the industrial design software, CATIA version 5 R16, is not installable. The installation would hang and cannot be completed.
The workaround calls for the removal of Sonic DLA first and, then install CATIA. Customers can use the Sonic DLA after CATIA is installed. The DLA's execution file, setup.exe, can be found under C:\IBMTOOLS\APPS\MYCD\DLA.
Sonic is investigating the root cause and will provide a new source on the next release.
