Problem

Resolving The Problem
STEP 1- Load nwaspi.nlm if not loaded.
- LOAD C:\NWSERVER\DRIVERS\NWASPI.NLM.
- Insert the Seagate Backup Exec cd into the CD-ROM drive.
- Type "CDROM" at the console prompt. Novell Netware 5 will mount the Backup Exec cd as a volume after a brief pause.
- To verify, type "VOLUMES" at the server prompt. Netware will list all the mounted volumes and Seagate should appear.
STEP 2
Install Seagate Backup Exec software.
Type "SEAGATE:NETWARE\BEINSTL" at the server prompt.
Highlight ENG. for English then press the spacebar to select.
Press F2 to continue.
Enter Seagate Backup Exec serial number.
Press F2 to continue.
Enter Seagate Backup Exec advanced option serial number or Press F2 to continue if none is available. Read the License Agreement then press ESC to exit the window.
Press F2 to agree to the terms.
Enter the Intelligent disaster recovery serial number. If not available, press F2 to continue.
Select the installation desired: Typical or Custom (recommended).
Press F2 to accept.
Type "Y" for YES to update the NLMs.
Press ESC to exit the single server edition notice on the screen.
Select controller type. Highlight AHA 294X press enter then F2 to select.
Type "Y" for YES to load Netware Client automatically when Backup Exec starts software installs.
Press F2 to accept default install directories.
Press F6 for readme (recommended) and F2 to Exit Installation.
STEP 3
Type "BESTART" at the server prompt.
Provide login information (user name and password).
At the Backup Exec Netware Client screen highlight COMMAND > BACKUP and press enter.
Highlight item to backup.
Press the spacebar to select, then F2 to accept.
Select S to submit the job.
Fill in the job information (press F1 if help is needed).
Press F2 to accept and submit the job.
Enter the user name again for the data set and press F2.
To view the backup in progress highlight administration and press enter. Select view backup.
