Problem
A system with a ServeRAID 7t controller might experience blocked logical drives after experiencing hard drive failure(s).

After booting to the ServeRAID Support CD and looking at the logical drive status, the logical drive reports offline status and is not accessible.
Attempts to get the logical drive out of this state fail since there doesn't seem to be any option that makes the drive accessible. one (1) or more physical drives should be in defunct state.

- Reboot the system and access the ServeRAID 7t BIOS tool by pressing Ctrl-A when prompted.
- Select the offending array and press Ctrl-R to repair, confirm the selection.
- The array should go from offline to degraded.
Note: Degraded means that there's one defunct hard disk.
- Replace the defunct drive, a rebuild operation will begin and the array can be accessed.
Note: The array should be accessible while on degraded state.
