The boot menu does not list all attached bootable devices when F12 is selected.

Affected configurations   

The system may be any of the following IBM IntelliStations:  

  • an Intellistation M Pro, type 6225, any model.
  • an Intellistation M Pro, type 6228, any model.  

The BIOS level(s) affected is/are:  

  • All  

The Firmware level(s) affected is/are:  

  • All  
Solution  

None. This is a code based system limitation. There are no plans for a fix.

Workaround  

If the user wants to boot from a specific device from the F12 boot menu then the user must ensure that the specific device is listed in the standard boot option in the setup configuration.
