Problem
The LOG LED is illuminated on the light path diagnostics LED panel and there are no other LEDs illuminated. If you check the System Event Log, SEL, there are no valid error codes.

Symptom
LOG LED is illuminated on the light path diagnostics LED panel and there are no other LEDs illuminated. If you check the System Event Log, SEL, there are no valid error codes.
Affected configurations
The system may be any of the following IBM e(logo)servers:
- an IBM eServer xSeries 365, type 8862, any model
- an IBM eServer xSeries 365, type 8861, any model
Solution
Download and apply IBM eServer xSeries 365 Remote Supervisor Adapter II Update Systems 8861 and 8862 version 1.05 (or latest).
Workaround
The LOG LED illumination does not affect the operation of the system, therefore, the LED can be ignored unless it is valid. You can confirm the validity of the LOG LED by looking to see if the Information LED or the System error LED is illuminated.
Additional information
IBM eServer xSeries 365 Remote Supervisor Adapter II Update Systems 8861 and 8862 version 1.03 is the code level with this issue.
