Symptom
If the system does not have a Remote Supervisor adapter, replacement part number (FRU) 36L9912, option part number 09N7585 installed then the following information will be missing from the Setup Configuration utility.

Affected configurations
The system may be any of the following IBM eServers
- an xSeries 232, type 8668, any model
- an xSeries 342, type 8669, any model
The system has the symptom described above.
Solution
Install a Remote Supervisor adapter
Addition information
The option of System Information, Administrator Password, Remote Control Security Settings, PCI/Slot Device Information are advanced features, only available when the Remote Supervisor adapter is installed. Vital Product Data (VPD) and the advanced PCI utility rely on the Remote Supervisor adapter NVRAM memory for storage and can not operate when the on-board integrated System Management processor is also present.
