Problem
This technote details why the warning message, Warning: you are using an unsupported browser or an unsupported client platform, appears when attempting to use IBM Rational ClearCase Web (CCWeb) or IBM Rational ClearCase Remote Client (CCRC)..
Symptom
Note: The issue has been illustrated using Internet Explorer 7.0, however, the details in this technote apply to all Web browsers that are used for working in CCRC or CCWeb.
After opening CCWeb, a warning message appears in the browser above the login prompt:
Login to CCWeb, and the warning message will continue to appear in the form of:
