Problem
This technote explains why attempts to use the IBM® Rational® ClearCase® xcleardiff utility on UNIX® or Linux® results in the error []cleartool: Error: Unable to invoke operation "xcompare" for manager "text_file_delta": -1[] and aborts with signal 6.
Symptom
Attempts to use the GUI xcleardiff results in the error:
