Workaround
|
|---|
After doing the backup, unload SBACKUP from the server.
Note: Do this between the Backup and the Restore.
Note: Detailed information on SBACKUP can be found on Novell's web site (http://support.novell.com).
Warning: Unloading these files while SBACKUP is running may cause the host server to abend or it might cause data to become
corrupted.
1. Unload the Enhanced SBACKUP utility (chose exit from the SBACKUP Main Menu).
2. Unload the SMS modules, including the Target Service Agents (TSA), Q Manager (QMAN), Storage Data Management Requester (SMDR), NetWare SBackup Communication Module (SBSC), and SMS Storage Device Interface (SMSDI), etc.
3. Unload workstation SMS files, if applicable.
When SBACKUP is restarted, the restore job can be submitted.
(It should complete normally.)
