Please verify the SCSI setup of your 3502 Tape Library. Ensure that the positions of the tape drive(s), library controller, SCSI cables, termination, and the device SCSI ID settings match the appropriate diagram below (based on the number of DLT tape drive(s) you are using).
3502-314 (or 3502-R14) with 1 DLT 7000 tape drive

3502-314 (or 3502-r14) with 1 dlt 7000 tape drive

Note: The Library controller is set to SCSI ID 0, and the first tape drive (0) is set to SCSI ID 1.
