Problem
Instructions to enable a supported system for DHCP
Resolving The Problem
| In order to enable a supported system for DHCP, do the following: |

- Turn on the computer and watch the screen for the IBM logo.
- At this point press F1 to go to Configuration/Setup.
- In Configuration/Setup select Startup from the menu.
- Next, select Startup Sequence at the top.
- Set the Primary Boot to be Network , 2nd to be Diskette , 3rd to be CD-ROM (if an option), and 4th to Hard Disk.
- The bottom of this section is the Automatic Startup . Enable this and set it to the same parameters as above.
- Press the Esc key to exit out to the main configuration menu.
- Choose Devices and scroll down to Ethernet.
- Make sure that Ethernet is enabled and then set the remote option to DHCP.
- Press the ESC key to exit out to the main configuration screen and choose Save and Exit.
