Change History
Version 1.31 - BuildID: MLE131A
---------------------------------------
Problem(s) Fixed:
- SATA DVD drive may not be detected correctly. The problem was caused by incorrect ICH10 SATA controller setting which decreased SATA transmitter output voltage.
Enhancements:
Limitations:
Dependencies:
Version 1.30 - BuildID: MLE130B
---------------------------------------
Problem(s) Fixed:
- Fixed a potential POST (Power-on-Self-Test) hang which might occur during recalibrating system power before OS starts.
- Memory patrol scrub option was not functioning. The problem was corrected by updating Intel processor microcode and RAS code.
- Redundant Bit Steering feature was not working for DIMMs greater than single rank in MAX5 memory expansion unit.
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 (RHEL6) installation could not be continued due to a video problem with EFI console output.
Enhancements:
- Added Advanced IMM Network Setup option to select data rate and duplex mode settings.
- Updated Broadcom firmware to T6.0.4.2.
Limitations:
Dependencies:
Version 1.22 - BuildID: MLE120C
-----------------------------------------------------
Problem(s) Fixed:
- Fixed a potential problem with unexpected QPI inband resets when QPI link is running at 6.4GT/s.
- There was incorrect data in MPS table which is used by legacy OS.
- Fixed a PCI memory mapped I/O resource allocation issue where Broadcom network controller settings are overlaid causing invalid PCI Address ranges to appear to OS. The problem was caused by Broadcom firmware prior to version T5.2.4.7 (Broadcom uEFI driver Version 5.2.15).
- Fixed DMAR table for Intel Virtualization Technology for Directed I/O (Vt-d) with explicitly describing all PCI devices under the secondary root PCI bus.
Enhancements:
- Enabled MAX5 memory expansion with maximum 1TB memory.
- Added "Halt On Severe Error" setup option in Operating Modes setup menu which can prevent the system from booting into OS and shows POST Event Viewer if POST detects a severe error that caused an unexpected reboot.
- Automatically switch to add-in video adapter from the onboard video controller with setup default setting if add-in video adapter is installed.
