Problems Fixed:

  • Fixed memory PFA and/or MCK when fully loaded with 4 GB DIMM.
  • Fixed memory multi-bit errors with four or fewer 4 GB DIMMS and BIOS v1.03.

Enhancements:

  • Added support for new AMD hex-core 8000/2000 Series Opteron 2.4, and 2.6 GHz processors.
  • For Hex-core CPU support down core function.

Problems Fixed:

  • Unable to flash diagnostics c8yt06 with image diskette
  • No errors indicated for mismatched CPU speeds

Problems Fixed:

  • Disabled "Relaxed ordering" bit in BIOS. Fix implemented per Broadcom HT2100 Errata. The errata was observed at IBM test lab with a Broadcom 5709 adapter, but the issue would not be limited to that adapter. The probability of occurrence in the field is low, but IBM strongly recommends updating to this code as quickly as possible to prevent any data issues from occurring.
