Download Description

This Driver is intended for production accross all IBM server platforms using: ES1000 (RN50) WITH EXCHANGE SERVER AND ATI GETS 2020 EVENTS

This driver supports the following Operating Systems only:

  • Windows 2000
  • Windows 2003 32bit
  • Windows 2003 64bit EM64T

Note: The above includes varities with "Server" and "Advanced Server" designations.

This driver will install for ATI devices with the following Subsystem IDs (set by video BIOS):

  • IBM - 0305
  • IBM - 0319
  • IBM - 029A
  • IBM - 0325
  • IBM - 02C8

The following fixes are present in this driver:

Symptom

Windows 2003 32 bit running Exchange server may see 2020 and 333 windows events due to insufficient memory when running with ATI driver. This has been seen when windows configuration specified the '/3g' switch and configured the system with an increased value of available Page Table Entries (PTEs).

The windows maximum paged pool memory might be limited (for example to 153M instead of expected 250M) when running Exchange Server on Windows 2003 with increased PTEs and running ATI custom video display driver v8.24.50.2-071025a-05.

Running with that ATI driver causes windows SystemPages registry entry to have a non-zero value (e.g. 'C3000'). For proper running of Exchange Server, windows recommends using SystemPages=0.
