Change history

Version 1.47 - Build ID: GGBT59AUS

  • Fixed the BMC clock not accurate issue

Version 1.46 - Build ID: GGBT58AUS

  • Changed Ambient temperature thresholds

Version 1.45 - BuildID: GGBT57AUS

  • Fixed the problem that Set Watchdog Pre-Timer functions return bad completion code
  • Add Power Restore Policy full support with new PSOC firmware

Version 1.44 - BuildID: GGBT56AUS

  • Fixed a problem where flashing the BMC with lflash periodically generated segmentation faults on Linux XEN kernels

Version 1.43 - BuildID: GGBT55AUS

  • Added support for flashing on Microsoft Windows 2008

Version 1.42 - BuildID: GGBT54AUS

  • Added support for WHEA
  • Added thresholds for the ambient temperature sensor

Version 1.39 - BuildID: GGBT51AUS

  • Added support for Harpertown Processors

Version 1.34 - BuildID: GGBT46AUS

  • Added the support of the system restart causes: chassis control command, system power-up via power button, watchdog expiration, OEM causes, automatic power-up on AC being applied due to 'restore previous power state' power restore policy, and soft reset.
  • Added two new sensors for CPU PECI tics reading.
  • Corrected IPMI LAN channel cipher suite privilege setting to allow USER privilege with cipher suite 0 but nothing more.

Version 1.33 - BuildID: GGBT45AUS

  • Fixed system reboot into backup BIOS when there is no error. Users would have system reboot after a drive was pulled, even in a redundant array.

Version 1.33 - BuildID: GGBT45AUS

  • Fixed system reboot into backup BIOS when there is no error. Users would have system reboot after a drive was pulled, even in a redundant array.

Version 1.32 - BuildID: GGBT44AUS

  • Fixed BMC reset issue due to improper handling of bus communication between BMC and NIC (Network Controller) when NIC IPMI firmware interface has been disabled. Users will experience fans running at full speed without causes and BMC heartbeat LED stops running.
  • Removed the support of chassis always stays powered off after AC/mains is applied from power restore policy

Version 1.29 - BuildID: GGBT41CUS

  • Director would incorrectly report that a power supply is not present when in fact it was present. This was due to IPMI SEL record was incorrectly generated fom BMC. Currently, BMC defined power modules (VRM and VRD) as the physical entity of a power supply(entity ID 0x08). Thus Director was parsing these records as power supplies which caused this problem. According to IPMI spec, the entity ID of all power modules now have been corrected as entity ID 0x14.

Version 1.27 - BuildID: GGBT41AUS

  • Added the always power up option for the IPMI Set Power Restore Policy command. This option will always turn the system on when AC power is restored. Prior to this option, the system would always restore power to the previous power state when AC power was restored. The user can control the power restore policy from the BIOS set up menu.

Version 1.25 - BuildID: GGBT39AUS

  • Added support for -48 volt power supplys

Version 1.24 - BuildID: GGBT38AUS

  • Added support for Power Executive which includes the ability to monitor and cap system power usage.

Version 1.13 - BuildID: GGBT26BUS

  • Added support for Intel quad core CPUs.

Version 1.12 - BuildID: GGBT26AUS

  • Added multicore thermal diodes reading and new thermal mode for fan control to support Clovertown; also fixed the following defects:
  • BMC not logging AC power restored with power loss.
  • PS presence assertion event sev inconsistant/incorrect.
  • Add SERR LED to the LED test table.
  • BMC does not issue SEL/alert for chassis control power cycle.
  • SYS HEALTH QUERY returns uf for hard drive fault.
  • SYS HEALTH QUERY returns uf for power supply fault.
  • SYS HEALTH QUERY returns uf for voltage fault.

Version 1.11 - BuildID: GGBT25AUS

  • Fixed a problem where the serial port is not accessable after DC power is interrupted.

Version 1.10 - BuildID: GGBT24AUS

  • OpenIPMI flash support

Version 1.09 - BuildID: GGBT23AUS

  • INT: System will not power up
  • Find Firmware Instance cmd no longer supported

Version 1.08 - BuildID: GGBT22AUS

  • Fans do not ramp up for Dempsey procs when Tcontrol <= Tdiode
  • BMC SNMP alert uncorrectable mem error event severity incorrect
  • BMC set LAN config param for WLAN priority not supported
  • No error reporting for power supply 5V/12V faults
  • No error reporting for failed VRM
  • BMC SNMP alert for thermtrip has incorrect severity
  • Use average of 110 and 220 DC-AC conversion

Version 1.07 - BuildID: GGBT21AUS

  • Fan Speed Code not functional with BMC version 19A
  • PE: No LEDs with CPU Mismatch
  • Add check for valid calibration signals
  • Update the ABR offset in the SDR table
  • BMC cannot get cpu temp values on Dempsey procs
  • BMC Get Channel Cipher Suites returns incorrect data
  • Get Command Support for Netfn 2E cmds 00-7F has errors
  • PE: BMC SNMP alert data wrong for single bit memory error
  • Add check for valid calibration signals
  • BMC tcontrol > Tdiode ramps fans too quickly
  • Add check for valid calibration signals

Version 1.06 - BuildID: GGBT20AUS
