  • This version of FAStT MSJ supports Linux OS kernel 2.6 (ie. SLES 9 and RHEL 4)
  • The following defects are also fixed in this release
    • A. Added SANsurfer Launcher Fabric Library calls (Windows Only)
    • B. Added code to enable all LUN is Bind By Port (LUN masking
      is disabled).
    • C. Fixed a install issue with IBM FAStT MSJ (Power PC version
      only)
    • D.Fixed ER0000000040050 NVRAM gets updated with an invalid
      file. The wrong file set the subsystem vendor id to 0000
      and subsystem device id to 000.

  • The following defects are also fixed in this release.
    • A. Fix issue seen when using IBM FAStT FC HBAs,
      the Microsoft Windows Event log would fill up with beacon
      operation failures. The event ID is 258.
    • B. Fix Login retry count incorrect after updating nvram
      with nvram23.dat file for IBM FC-2/FC2-133 HBAs. The affected
      OSes are Microsoft Windows/Linux.
    • C. Remove filtering of IBM FC HBA WWNs, since the Microsoft
      Windows driver issue has been fixed in 9.x series driver.
      This will allow IBM FC HBA targets to be found.
    • D. Update the default install location for SUN Solaris
      platforms. It is no longer installed to /usr/local/bin.
      Qlremote is now installed in the application install folder.
