Download Description
Severity: Critical
Change History
Version 2.45
- Fixed problem where using ASF Boot Options to remotely power-on/reset specific systems (via RMCP remote control commands), would cause the system would freeze during the subsequent boot-up.
- Fixed problem where VLAN packets destinated to BMC will leak to Host.
V ersion 2.44
- Fixed problem where communication to the BMC is lossed while running the Windows load/unload driver test.
Version 2.43
- Fixed problem where firmware cease to work after Windows "Blue Screen" occurred.
- Fixed problem where the system dropped incoming IPMI commands when IP "Don't Fragment" bit is set.
- Fixed problem where ASIC report incorrect Master/Slave mode status.
- Fixed intermittent problem where communication to the BMC is lossed after driver enable/disable.
- Fixed problem where the BMC was not being notified of link changes.
- Fixed problem where fail-over took more that 1 minute to occur.
- Fixed problem where IPMI packets were being lossed when server is powered off.
- Fixed problem where the IPMI code attempts to run with the system saved configuration although the configuration may be corrupted.
Version 2.42
- Modified code to ignore ARP packets with 0.0.0.0 address.
- Added watchdog timer. The watchdog timer is implemented in OS present mode so if driver hangs, firmware can self-reset and operate in non-OS mode. In order to have this function to be working properly, new drivers must be used together. Windows: v8.40 (or later) Linux: 8.3.13 (or later) Solaris: v8.3.0 (or later)
- Fixed IPMI problem where slave mode did not work.
- Fixed problem where fragmented IP packets where sent to the BMC. Now, fragmented IP packets are discarded.
- Fixed problem where IPMI code would respond to ARP requests even when the IPMI-PT is disabled.
- Fixed problem where LOM 2 was returning the system MAC when in embedded mode.
- Fixed problem where the WOL link speed set by the driver was replaced by the IPMI setting causing the link to be re-negotiated.
- Fixed serdes link issue where the link could not be established correctly on some platforms.
Version 2.41
- Fixed problem where link could not be established after Windows shutdown.
Version 2.40
- Fixed problem linking at 1000 when set to force 1000 connection.
Version 2.39
- Fixed problem where IPMI would not work on the 2nd port.
Version 2.38
- Fixed problem where the promiscuous mode setting would get cleared after extended use.
Version 2.37
- Fixed problem where connection to the BMC fails when running driver load/unload test.
Version 2.36
- Fixed port filtering problem where the firmware uses UDP2 value for UDP1.
- Fixed problem with Windows 2003 and ASFIPMon, changing the system IP address requires power cycling the chassis before change would take effect.
Version 2.35
- Fixed problem where Upon cold reset, the Passthru Systme IP address was saved incorrectly.
- Fixed problem where the GetConfig command would only return 31 bytes of data.
Version 2.34
- Fixed problem where the IPMI firmware would respond to ARP request for all IP address regardless if the IP address was assign to the NIC.
Version 2.33
- Fixed WoL problem.
Version 2.32
- Fixed word alignment problem.
Version 2.31
- Fixed problem passing ARP packets to the BMC.
