Download Description

1. Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click the System icon.
3. Click the Device Manager tab.
4. From Device Manager, click the plus sign (+) next to CDROM.
   
5. Double-click Samsung SM-308.
   
6. Click the Settings tab.
   
7. Check to see that the firmware revision number is not T103.

1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
   
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file.

Attention: Do not interrupt the flash update process once downloading to the drive has started! This can make your drive permanently unusable.

1. Click Start, select Find, then click Files and folders.
   
2. Type b81z01us9x.exe in the search field, then click Find Now. This will locate the b81z01us9x.exe file you just downloaded.
   
3. Double-click the b81z01us9x.exe icon.
   
4. Click Next. Read the license agreement.
   
5. Click I accept the terms in the license agreement.
   
6. Click Next.
   
7. Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\B81Z01US9X.
   
8. Click Next.
   
9. Click Open.
   
10. Select T100A.bin, then click Open.
    
11. Click Down to update the combo drive firmware.
    
12. The application will ask to reboot the machine when it finishes flashing the drive.
