Problem
This technote explains how to resolve returns errors about the estimated epoch numbers in an IBM® Rational® ClearQuest® MultiSite environment.
Symptom
Running the command syncreplica -export returns the following error:
Error: Exception: Failed condition: session->GetEpochEstimate(local,replica)==LastEpoch[j]
Location: ClearQuest Core:admultisite.cpp:4920. The syncreplica -export command failed.There maybe different reasons why this happens, one reason is that the estimated epochs between different estimates on the same site are out of sync.
