Notes:

1. Maximum numbers of elements supported
    The IBM Tivoli Storage Manager device driver prior to version 5.2.7 supports up to 12 drives, 500 storage slots, and 16 entry/exit ports.
    The IBM Tivoli Storage Manager device driver version 5.2.7 and later supports the multi-module configuration with up to 1000 storage slots, 24 drives, and 30 entry/exit ports.

2. Barcodes are supported.

3. See the Graphical User Interface touch screen for library configuration.

4. A cartridge cannot be checked into a fixed slot.

5. Device identifications and firmware levels
    Library ID : OVERLAND NEO Series --- Firmware : 0302
    Drive ID : HP Ultrium 2-SCSI --- Firmware : F5AH

6. ELEMent=AUTODetect in the DEFINE/UPDATE DRIVE command is supported.

7. Overland NEO 8000 is available with SDLT 600, HP Ultrium-2, HP Ultrium-3, and HP Ultrium-4 drives.


Library and drive may require different minimum Tivoli Storage Manager levels. Therefore, ensure that both library and drive hardware are supported. See "Supported Devices for AIX, HP-UX, Solaris and Windows" or "Supported Devices for Linux" for minimum supported version levels and platforms for these devices.
