Lenovo System Updates for Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, v6.0

Lenovo System Updates for Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, Version 6.0 acquires Lenovo system firmware and Windows device driver information for Lenovo hardware, publishes updates onto Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), and enables seamless update management for Windows systems running on Lenovo x86 servers..
 
Key features include:

  • Offer a 90-days trial
  • Support for acquiring the latest Lenovo System x ToolsCenter UpdateXpress System Pack Installer
  • Ability to select individual firmware and driver updates from the IBM website, or complete IBM UpdateXpress System Packs (UXSPs) and deposit them in a local user defined repository of choice
  • Ability to publish updates to Microsoft WSUS servers and manage the sequence of applying updates in a customizable deployment package
  • Support for handling System Enablement Pack (SEP) for hardware currency
  • Update deployment and conformance reviews through the SCCM console
  • Support Multilanguage: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Russian

  • Easily view and expire Updates on the WSUS server through user interface enhancements
  • Export update information to an excel file for detailed comparison
  • View new update deployment result log files from the Windows Server Update Services server to assist with installation and deployment error conditions
  • Allow updates to be installed as a downgrade.
