Removing the SCSI daughter card

Note: The presence of AC standby power might result in damage to the hardware unless you disconnect the power cord for each power source from the electrical outlet.

  1. Power-off the server.
  2. Disconnect the power cord for each power source from the electrical outlet.
  3. Remove the top cover.
  4. Remove the shuttle.
  5. Disconnect the SCSI cable.
  6. Remove the SCSI assembly.
  7. Pry the SCSI daughter card off of the four retaining pins.
  8. To install a SCSI daughter card, reverse the above procedure.
