What are the standard Lotus Notes e-mail forms?

Question & Answer

Question

The DB2® Document Manager System Administration Guide provides instructions to integrate Lotus® Notes® with the Document Manager Client. These instructions provide details on how to configure the save options for Notes objects (messages, tasks, contacts and calendar entries). The instructions include a directive to type in the name of the applicable Notes form, but the names of the Notes forms are not included.

Cause

There is no list of form names for the Form Name field at the bottom of the Save Options dialog on the Lotus Notes Application Configuration dialog.

Answer

Manually enter the appropriate form name using the list provided.

From the DB2 Document Manager Designer -> Global -> Desktop -> Application Integration -> Lotus Notes Integration Configuration dialog -> Save Options page select one of the following Item Types: Message, Calendar, Contact, or To Do. The Message item type applies to two forms: Memo and Reply. If you decide to use the Message item type and use both forms, their names must be separated by the pipe symbol "|" when entered into the Form Name field.

Form Name list for each Lotus Notes object:
Message: Memo, Reply
Calendar: Appointment
Contact: Person
ToDo: Task
