Mid Plane

After carefully engaging the sockets 'Mid Plane card ASM'' into the sockets of the 'I/O planar card and PCI card ASM' place your left hand as shown while torquing down the wing nuts.

  • Lay I/O mechanical assembly on its side.

Turn the ASM side ways as shown

  • Carefully seat centerplane on assembly. Align with 2 guide pins.

Left Alignment pin on planar tray .
Right alignment Pin on PCI frame.

Note: The blue lever above is locked. The other end position is the unlock Position

After verifying the pins on the Mid Plane card are straight to the bare eye inspection. Install the Mid Plane ASM card onto the 'PCI and Borg ASM shuttle' by vertically lowering the Mid Plane ASM.
