The IBM 1U 17 inch Flat-Panel Monitor Console Kit is a powerful and convenient way to manage space-constrained, budget-sensitive rack environments. Key features include:

The IBM 1U 17-Inch Flat-Panel Monitor Console Kit takes 50% less space than the entry-priced 2U flat-panel offering. It includes all the components necessary to set up and control rack servers. This offering replaces the current 15 inch 1U offering as the high-end solution for rack-mounted xSeries servers.

IBM ACT Enterprise Activation Key
For IBM Advanced Connectivity Technology (ACT) products The software key allows users to centrally manage all Remote Console Manager (RCM) KVM over IP switches as a common solution. By using industry standard LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) this new software brings major benefits over individually managed switches as changes to access and server viewing rights, can now be made at a single central location rather than at each switch. This authentication improvement and the addition of the added security feature of 3DES communication encryption will make the RCM viable in even the largest most complex installations. The new key turns on functionality already built into the latest firmware.

IBM PS/2 Travel Keyboards with UltraNav for IBM 1U 17 inch Flat-Panel Monitor Console
A series of new Travel keyboards are released for use with the new 1U 17 inch monitor console kit.

• Keyboards are PS/2 based and for use with versions of the Flat Panel Kit without keyboard
• Includes both TrackPoint and Track Pad point devices
