Now you can protect and substantially extend the backup power runtimes of your mission-critical applications with cost-effective, high-density, uninterruptable power supply (UPS) options. In addition, a new 60-A power distribution unit (PDU) is now available to more efficiently support IBM eServer xSeries rack installations.
The new UPS3000X and UPS Extend Run Battery Pack
- Includes a suite of easy-to-use management tools
- Supports rack-mounting or stand-alone-tower installations
- Saves valuable rack space
- Extends battery run times
The 2 U high, UPS3000X is 33% smaller than its predecessor and provides the highest watt/U backup power of any of our xSeries UPS offerings.
This means you can gain valuable rack space for other components or provide greater backup capacity over that of less powerful UPS offerings
taking the same space. In addition, the UPS3000X takes leadership with high-availability features and functions:
-
Ability to hot-swap:
- Electronic components
- Battery packs
- Support for extend run battery pack options increase backup power runtimes to 90 minutes or more
-
Standard USB and network communications
- Management via serial, USB, or over the network
- Support for unattended shut down of individual systems using network connection
- Ability to remotely control outlets so critical servers can run for a longer period of time
- Highly efficient - Power factor of .95
NETBAY Single Phase 60A Front-end Power Distribution Unit
This new power distribution unit (PDU) is designed to handle the increased power demands of today's Intel-based servers. With a compact 1U mechanical, this modular front-end PDU enables efficient power distribution to xSeries servers while reducing the number of line cords coming from the rack for power. It helps reduce operational costs and rack clutter. This high-amperage product is especially useful for high-density servers such as:
- BladeCenter
- xSeries 345
- xSeries 335
(United States, PCNA, Canada)
