General information

The IBM 68 Pin External Multimode LVD/SE Terminator is used for terminating external SCSI device chains. It is installed on the last external enclosure in the SCSI chain. It is appropriate for use on IBM external SCSI device enclosures including the 3510 half-high SCSI device enclosure. Use of previously available single-ended SCSI terminators limits data transfer rates to 40 MBps. This new terminator works equally well in Ultra160 SCSI and all earlier wide SCSI device chains.
