General information
This converter lets you use newer, faster Wide Ultra SCSI drives in systems designed for older narrow (50-pin) devices. 

  • Allows the use of the 4.5GB and 9.1GB Wide Ultra SCSI hard drives in older systems designed for older narrow 50-pin devices.

NOTE: When a 68-pin hard drive is adapted for use in 50-pin cabling, its highest interface data transfer rate is reduced to be compatible with the existing cable and SCSI bus adapter.
