PC Server 320 supports a maximum of 256MB of ECC-on-SIMM memory. All supported system memory is addressable through direct memory access (DMA). Maximum system memory can be achieved in all models by using 32MB SIMMs in each of the eight memory SIMM sockets. All memory SIMMs must be installed in matched pairs. Refer to the Compatibility Section of the Sales Manual or contact your IBM reseller or IBM representative for supported ECC-on-SIMM memory options.
