Removing the air baffle

  1. Turn off the server and all attached devices. Then, disconnect all power cords and external cables.
  2. Remove the top cover:
    1. Press the cover-release button.
    2. Slide the cover back approximately one half inch.
    3. Lift the cover off of the server, and set it aside.
  3. Grasp the air baffle. Then, lift it up and out of the server and set it aside.
