Notes:

  • The memory controller provides support for up to 24 industry-standard registered or LRDIMM ECC DDR3 on low-profile (LP) DIMMs on the system board.
  • Each DIMM connector supports 2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB, or 32 GB low-profile (LP) double-date rate (DDR3) DRAM.
  • A maximum of 768 GB of system memory is supported by using a 32 GB DIMM of ECC DDR3 memory in each of the DIMM sockets.
  • All memory installed must be of the same type (RDIMM, LR DIMM, or UDIMM).
  • Chipkill is supported in x4 DIMM memory configurations only.
