Voltage regulator module removal
To remove the Processor VRM, follow these steps:
- Remove the service access cover.
- Disconnect the power source from the system by unplugging the system.

Perform the following steps to remove a voltage regulator module from the system processor assembly:
- Pull the connector tabs up and then out.
- Pull the voltage regulator module out of the connector.
- Place the voltage regulator module on an electrostatic discharge (ESD) surface.
