SAS tape drive installation
To install the SAS tape drive, follow these steps:
-
Perform the following steps to install the SAS media device:
- Latch the mounting clip on to the media device.
- Connect the SAS cable to the media device.
- Insert the cable into the media bay with the media device.
- Push the media device into the system until you feel the latches lock in place.
- Attach the media device connections to the system backplane.
- Replace the service access cover.
- Connect the power cords to the system.
