Memory modules installation
To install the Memory modules, follow these steps:
- Ensure that the connector locking tabs are pushed open into the unlocked position before installing a new memory module.
- Carefully grasp the memory module along the edge and align it with the connector.
Attention: Memory modules are keyed to prevent a memory module from being installed incorrectly. Note the location of the key tab within the memory module connector before attempting to install the memory module. - Push the memory module firmly into the connector until it locks.

Replace the memory riser.
- Align the memory riser with the connector.
- Press firmly into the connector.
- Press the locking tabs into the closed position.
- Replace the service access cover.
- Reconnect the power source.
